I am a founding member of this salsa band that plays regularly in the Denver/Boulder areas. I play bass bone, tenor bone, and do a lot of singing! It is a high energy group that has a lot of fun and has a great book!
9th and Lincoln Orchestra
I am the bass trombonist in this big band formed by composer Tyler Gilmore in Denver to play contemporary big band music. We play music by composers like Maria Schneider, John Hollenbeck, and a lot of great music by Tyler and anyone else in the band who brings in a chart. We play every last Sunday of each month at a club in Denver called Dazzle. Check out www.dazzlejazz.com for directions.
Colorado Jazz Orchestra
This is a group of Colorado jazz musicians that come together once a month to play great music by the likes of Thad Jones, Maria Schneider, and Bob Brookmeyer. Our November concert will be featuring Paul McKee as a soloist and in the section, so it should be a lot of fun. I play bass bone in this group.
